10/1/17

Special Event: The Biometrics Council will host a meeting on the Future of Biometrics at IJCB 2017. Biometrics has come a long way in its short history. As it now becomes more established in society, we need to consider again appropriate avenues for research and development. This afternoon meeting will be a mix of talk, panel and discussion, aiming to focus on mixing established academics with younger researchers to discuss where research might go, what it might lead to and new areas which are yet to enjoy the benefits of biometrics technology. This will be an afternoon session running parallel to the tutorials. It is open to any registered attendee of IJCB 2017 without an additional charge.
